ZETON "goes green" in the 1st Annual Staff Golf Tournament

On a picture-perfect Friday afternoon in June 2009, Zeton's staff in the Canadian office and invited guests hit the fairways for the 1st Annual Staff Golf Tournament at the Burlington Springs Golf and Country Club. Altogether there were nine foursomes, each bearing an imaginative team name like The Wild Bunch, The Short Team, The Thugs, etc. An enjoyable afternoon was had by all in this best ball tournament, with The Internationals Team (see picture) claiming first prize overall. Awards for closest to the pin and longest drive went to Ben Barrett and Steve Medeiros respectively.

Special thanks from all those who participated goes to Brian Browne and Mark Pulcine for organizing the day's activities, and to the Zeton Social Committee for subsidizing the event.

Zeton celebrates "growing season" by participating in Movember charity fundraiser

During November 2008, a dedicated group of hombres in Zeton's Burlington operation under the leadership of project engineer Oliver Orrell participated in Movember, a global charity fundraiser to raise awareness of, and funds for, prostate cancer research. The common thread: participants agreed to grow a moustache for the entire month of November (see www.movember.com for more information). Donations grew along with our moustaches, and a total of $3,328 was raised through a combination of staff sponsorships and a generous contribution from Zeton Inc. (in lieu of mailing holiday greetings cards). Congratulations to Zeton's Mo Growers!
