Zeton Champions — 1st and 2nd place in Heatwave Halton 2011 Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament

Accomplishments (and other news) of our staff in the Dutch and Canadian operations.

On May 28th, 2011, employees from Zeton Inc.'s Burlington office competed in the "Heatwave" Halton region charity beach volleyball tournament. This annual fundraising event provides valuable support to The Hospital For Sick Kids Foundation, to assist in childhood cancer research. It was Zeton's second appearance at the event, and was a resounding success for the Zeton teams, both on and off the court.

In the recreational division, Zeton's team "ZZ-Topspin" was in fine form, losing only one round-robin match and narrowly being defeated in the final to place a very impressive 2nd. Meanwhile in the competitive division, Zeton's team "Random Act of Volleyance" was also dominant throughout the day, and a convincing win in the final saw them crowned champions.

Off the court, Zeton's fundraising efforts were also impressive, ultimately raising over $2000 in pledges and tournament entry fees, including a generous corporate donation from Zeton Inc. Special thanks to Brian Browne for his fundraising challenge and encouraging other employees to donate.
