Zeton completes large project...including a challenging move

On the night of 19 March 2008, Zeton transported seven large modules through the streets of the city of Enschede, The Netherlands. The entire pilot plant project incorporates 15 large modules, eight of which were transported directly from Zeton B.V. to Rotterdam Harbor. Due to height restrictions, normal transport was not possible for the other modules and therefore transport by boat from Enschede to Rotterdam was required. The largest module in the project is 11 meters long, four meters wide and seven meters high.

The convoy, which had to cross down-town Enschede, was escorted by police to ensure smooth and safe transit. When they arrived at the harbor of Enschede, all seven modules were loaded onto a barge. After arriving in Rotterdam, all modules were transferred onto a large ship for transport over sea to their final destination.
